I'm still whining about having spent most of last week in Las Vegas, where I attended the big ICAST tackle show. What can I say? I don't gamble, I don't like crowds and temperatures were mostly in the range of 100 to 115 degrees.
Despite my complaining, there is always a silver lining. Specifically, I got to spend time with one of angling's all-time greats, Gary Loomis, at the Temple Fork Outfitters booth. Gary has been designing some of the world's finest fishing rods for many years. He's a true legend, and his decision to join Temple Fork means a lot.
If you haven't seen the spinning and casting rods that Gary designed for Temple Fork, get on down to your local shop. And if your shop doesn't have Gary's rods in stock, tell the manager to get in gear. Time's a' wasting.
